Sherry Brockie has lived in Blackman Charter Township for over twenty years. She has held the position of Treasurer for 4 terms. Sherry is a Certified Public Finance Administrator, a Michigan Certified Professional Treasurer and a Michigan Certified Assessing Officer. Prior to becoming the Treasurer, Sherry was the co-owner and Chief Financial officer of Brockie Fabricating Inc.
Sherry serves on the Finance Committee, Administrative Committee, LDFA, and the Planning Commission. Sherry is past president for the Jackson County Treasurers Association, and continues to serve on the Education Committee and Membership Committee for the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association.
